Lighthouse, Inc provides unique opportunities to live out your faith and minister in a multicultural environment, right here in Northeast Ohio. We regularly create short-term missions opportunities for churches, youth groups, etc.
Typically, we are looking for organizations that seek to learn, understand and grow by participating in new experiences they haven’t seen before. We believe that just as we are able to bring in organizations to impact and improve the central neighborhoods of Cleveland, those same neighborhoods have incredible assets and people that will also transform the organizations that participate.

Have you ever wondered what it means to put your faith into action? Are you searching for meaning and purpose? Do you want to make a measurable difference with your life? Do you feel God wants to use you as an instrument to build his kingdom? Or are you tired of the same old same old....
Cleveland is the foreclosure capital of the U.S. There are thousands of vacant and abandoned homes that need a bit of TLC. Lighthouse Inc. would like to invite teams to help us reclaim the American dream for families in need.
Invest one week of your time, with some much needed building materials, and a little bit of elbow grease you can help us “makeover” a home. We want to go street by street and rebuild communities and restore the value to Cleveland’s neighborhoods.
This can range from building a porch or a handicap ramp for homeowners to clearing out vacant lots for a community play ground or garden.
We also have plans for one week “extreme makeover” crews that will allow us to purchase a home to rebuild and restore it for a family to move in.
Ministry trips are designed as one day or weekend events. They are focused on spending time with folks from our community. These trips can range from community service, to food distribution, to a day on Heaventrain. We will help you find ways to share your gifts and talents to impact the lives of others. This is a chance for your eyes to be opened to the reality of the world we live in. Many youth and adults are forever changed by a trip to our city. You don’t have to travel around the world to be a missionary.
Jesus has called us to be active in our service. In that action he is able to change our view of the world we live in. Reality check is a way to gain perspective on our life, our faith, and our ability to make a difference.
