Lighthouse Inc. is a 501c3 not for profit organization that serves children in families in Cleveland’s central projects.

The vision for our community is complete when the kids in our community are thriving as students, citizens, employees, leaders shaping the future of the community. Investing in these young people, is an investment for time and eternity.

Lighthouse Inc. was started in an effort to meet God’s people at their place of need and put faith into action by not only preaching the gospel, but giving it life and showing it to those who have every reason to question whether there is a God and whether or not He cares about them.

As the Church, we have been called to be the Body of Christ, going out and continuing the work that he was sent to earth to do. Its practical ministry, going out and not only sharing resources with those who have little, but getting to know them and gaining new friends who, although they may or may not live different lifestyles, are connected by one very important common thread...we are all loved by the same God.

Heaventrain is a unique, yet very simplistic ministry concept. Passenger buses are purchased and revamped and essentially become traveling church buildings. This stays consistent with the approach that Christ himself had for the church by going OUT to the people where they are at that moment. The excitement that can be seen on the faces of the people in some of Cleveland’s poorest neighborhoods is something that should be considered one of the greatest blessings a person could ever hope to receive from doing the work of Christ.
